A skilled and inherently endowed Bharatanaytam dancer, Renjitha Sreenath is a Post- Graduate diploma holder from her alma-mater Kalakshetra, and has also completed Master of Fine Arts in Bharatanatyam from Bharathidasan University, Thiruchirappalli. Renjitha has also acquired National Eligibility Test(NET) qualification, conducted by University Grants Commission , India in Dance.

An MBA holder from University of Madras, Bharatanatyam has been her dedication and devotion ever since childhood. Renjitha started training in dance at her tender age under the guidance of Kalamandalam Premalatha and continued exploring the art form under the ample tutelage of eminent gurus at Kalakshetra , Sri. Sheejith Krishna, Ms. Leela Samson, Sri. Hari Padman, Smt. Bragha Bessel to name a few.

A serious student with deep affection and unrelenting passion towards the great art form, Renjitha’s expressive skills using precise and subtle nuances, and dynamic stage presence within the core principles of traditional Bharatanatyam makes her performance more graceful, refined and communicative.

Renjitha is also trained in Yoga, Kalaripayattu, the martial art form of Kerala, and Nattuvangam besides learning music.

Over the years, Renjitha has performed in several prestigious National Dance festivals including Ranga Harsha 2016’, conducted by Somaiyya Vidya Vihar, in association with Navaneetham Cultural Trust, National Festival for Dance and Music by Panachikkadu, Kerala. Having featured in various Kalakshetra productions including the famed Ramayana series, Rukmini kalyanam , Kannappar Kuravanji, etc., she also participated in Charishnu, a spectacular dance and music presentation which includes a selection of the classical, folk and martial dance forms of India, conceived and directed by Dr. Leela Samson, conducted in association with Incredible India! at China.

A dedicated performing artiste, Renjitha seeks to take to her audiences the grandeur and nobility of traditional Bharatanatyam, deeply rooted in inherent spirituality.
